Student Council Collecting Donations for Haiti

Dear Parents of St. Joseph's School,

My name is Grace Gagnon, and I am Student Council President. Many of us have heard about the devastation in Haiti. When I heard about Haiti and their condition, my heart broke. I think since we are a Catholic school, we all need to put our hearts together to help Haiti. I have been busy organizing ways to help Haiti. Student council is going to be sending out flyers to each classroom saying what items are needed. We are also going to have an oversized piggy bank in the lobby. If you could please donate, I would appreciate it. I will also come up with others ways we can help Haiti as a whole. This project is called, Hope for Haiti. I would just also like to note that we are very lucky to be where we are. We are in a great country, state and school. When you look at the saddening pictures of Haiti, remember to count your blessings and to thank God for the wonderful life you live. Thank you, all donations are appreciated.

Sincerely,
Grace Gagnon
Student Council President
