 Members of the JV Girls Team with 2nd Place Trophy in the St. Peter & Paul Holiday Tournament in Waterbury.
The St. Joseph Boys and Girls basketball teams are off to a strong start this year as they head into the second half of their seasons. As of January 12th the Varsity Girls team's record was 4-2 in the Waterbury Conference, 6-5 overall. JV Girls placed second in the 22nd Annual St. Peter & Paul Holiday Tournament earlier this month with Corinne J named to All Tournament Team. Varsity Girls also took part in the tournament with Maddy S named All Tourney MVP and to the Varsity All Tournament Team. The JV record stands at 6-1 in the Conference, 9-2 overall.
The boys continued their winning tradition as well; Varsity Boys are undefeated with a 9-0 record and the JV Boys' record is 4-3. Congratulations to both Varsity and JV Boys for winning over St. Matthews School Monday January 18th! The Varsity game was extremely competitive with St. Joe's Panthers winning by just 3 points!
