SCRIP- “Substitute for money”

SCRIP is one of the larger fund raising programs at St Joseph School. The program requires no out-of-pocket expenses and allows the school to earn profit off local merchants you already frequent. The St. Joseph Home & School Association purchases gift cards to local merchants at a discount, from 2% - 15%. The SCRIP committee then sells you the gift cards at face value, with the difference going to St. Joseph School as profits earned. “In-stock” gift cards to local grocery and gas stations are available weekly. Many national chains are offered as “Pre-Ordered” merchants. In most instances, these gift cards are received within one week.

We need your support as we kick off the 2009-2010 SCRIP fund raising year. This year’s goal has been set at $25,000.00.
